I agree, a better solution to shutting the government down is to convince voters that you have a better plan for the future, and win elections. Democrats made their point, if voters want affordable Healthcare, maybe they should vote for Democrats.

If all politicians would just negotiate all bills in bipartisan agreements, in good faith for their constituents, instead of just the billionaires, and dark money donors, there would be no need for the filibuster. Just do their freaking job.

Politicians that refuse to negotiate with the other party should be voted out of office period. Country before party.

The reason nothing gets done in Washington is because of the filibuster... Just get rid of it, majority rules, if the voters don't like what the majority is doing, then they can go to the polls and freaking vote differently next time.

You know Medicare Advantage is a scam because it was created by the Republicans. They pay for all the nonstop ads by denying claims, filing false/inflated claims, and raising costs. It should change its name to something more truthful and remove the Medicare association. What would be a better name?

So basically all he has accomplished in his illegal tariffs is raising prices for American consumers. Time to elect politicians who adhere to the Constitution and fire all those who refuse to do the job they were elected to do.

In all government shutdowns the only ones that should work without pay are the politicians, and they should not get any back pay.
