I am looking for a primer on why and how Reform is a far-right party when it comes to the political spectrum.
Ideally something that analyses their statements, policies, and general approach.
Can anyone help?

Perpetual student. Just doing my best.

Gosh Iβve not posted here for a while. I should really put the app on the front page of my phone so I remember it exists.
Anyway, hereβs a photo of my latest project that involves quilting and larp - two of my favorite hobbies.
Every time I get up early for a sprint race I regret it.
Theyβre just a bit boring.
I also remember some friends being arrested, deported, and banned from the US for life because they were models who travelled to the US to collaborate (unpaid) with some photographers in incredible locations. It was decided they were βworkingβ even though they werenβt paid; it was a passion project.
21.03.2025 08:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The US has always been a very unfriendly place to travel to compared to many other places. I recall when I was working as journalist the fact that you basically had to have a burner phone for your holiday otherwise border control could force you to hand your phone over.

20.03.2025 19:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I do this! Itβs so great. I thought everyone knew about it - the lady enthusiastically told me when I signed up for my library card after moving to the area!

More fucking reflective practice! πππ
Thereβs no reason that sportsmen should only show aggression and βmasculineβ emotions. This is toxic masculinity.
The world of sport is better when we make space for a full range of emotions, including distress.
Iβll be cheering loudly for Hadjar this weekend. Heβs a brilliant young driver. β€οΈ
The man in the orange jacket is Paul Meade, a brilliant motorsports marshal.
He is comforting a Rookie F1 driver in tears who just ditched his car before even started the race.
Contrast to Helmet Marko who suggested the driver was weak for displaying emotion. #F1
Two more months to go and Iβve already scored high enough on the assignments for my first two @openuniversity.bsky.social modules that I could stop working today and still pass.
So thatβs seven assignments down and four more to go before the end of May!
I strongly relate to this comment.
17.03.2025 11:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It doesnβt seem to make me drowsy - if I take it and then stay up longer it seems ok.
But I am sleeping when I want to sleep! And thatβs amazing!
Itβs not an exaggeration - my life has changed now Iβve been taking Magnesium Glycinate supplements for a week.
Perimenopause has given me insominia and for the first time in a year Iβm both getting to sleep easily AND sleeping all through the night.

Obviously the farming industry is known for it's ability to change what it produces immediately to suit the needs of local consumers. Quick turnarounds are a speciality!
New machinery is just waiting to be installed on farms across the USA, and the processes are already known and written!
ChatGPT says that Chicago is better than Harvard for detailed source tracking and complex citations.
BUT WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT THAT? HMMMMMM?
I'm also happy to continue my campaign for Chicago referencing because nobody should be subjected to the absolute atrocity that is Harvard.
05.03.2025 07:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't know who at @oulibrary.bsky.social thought that this was a good example of how to do secondary referencing, but it needs a sense check.
05.03.2025 07:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0According to the Guardian today, a report suggests almost one in 10 women who died at the hands of men in the UK over the past 15 years were killed by their sons.
Thatβs a remarkable and tragic statistic in the history of femicide.
I wonder how many men are killed by their daughters in comparison.
Turns out us Brits have awful lot to say about Vance on the BBC website. π

Finished my Open Uni essay but somehow got eight units to catch up on before the end of this weekend. Three aren't compulsory, but I'd still like to do them.
AND I have to somehow fit in a binge-watch of Drive to Survive this weekend and a trip to the National Herb Centre!
And yet, people still seem to think that Israel is on the right side of history.
02.03.2025 14:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am almost out of my perfume, so I am looking forward to what new things you come up with this year.
02.03.2025 07:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Honestly, writing this in the middle of my essay is ridiculous:
(Blanchard, Zigarmi, and Zigarmi, 1986, cited in Rea, 2024a)
BTW I saw this recently and bookmarked it because it's really very interesting (I'm not surprised at this, a lot of what you write is very interesting).
But it's inspired me to work on the same because I think there's a significant dearth of good, basic art history information similar to this.
Whoever thought Harvard referencing, with its need to add letters to years to differentiate different sources in the text, was better than footnotes is having a fucking laugh.
Seriously. Were they drunk? High? Having a mid-life crisis?
