I was so lucky to get a Gardevoir etb box on pre-order but less lucky in my pulls from that box. What was delightful was sitting in the shop on release day and being with other collectors opening their boxes - the occasional cheer and flex was actually wholesome vibes.

My travellers Cache went out again for MF4 and it looks like we had some amazing visitors check it out. I saw at one point some folks threatening the box with weapons so I am glad people enjoyed visiting my small hidden treasure.

Deffo gonna be back next year.

September 1st and going back to do some learning.
So I bought myself a silly little guy toolbox for the adventure and a water bottle with a Triceratops breathing fire on it.

Hosted a little event with some silly social games for the court of Norwich, took a moody photograph and saved a Werewolf?
All in all despite lower player numbers due to a last moment date change, I would say we held the line and made a good event.

The 'What is this box' of Menhir's Fate
Hidden somewhere on Haven this little travelling, traveller shrine had its own mini adventure at MF3, filled with goodies and a small notebook those who found it were invited to take a thing and replace it and sign the guest book.

It will be back for MF4.

Its Blackberry season... a little early than normal.
Ive been mopping up bowls of Berries this week from the back of the garden using the ancient nettle crushing rake bridge technique. Its a good year for them and they are especially nice with an mango ice lolly.

Brought my Trade folder to Empire larp.
Had a lovely time swapping cards with other pokemone enthusiasts. None of us are really big collectors but gosh we love the cards that we do have.
I am especially pleased with the Gulpin cake card that I swapped thats a forever keeper for me. Would swap again.

Merry Guinea Pig Day everyone!
Today we appreciate these little round potato beans in all their glory - These are my two Zakalwe and Tito. I love them very much as they have gotten me through some pretty dark days by just being round and wriggly.
They will absolutely do crime for a lettace.

Another great game of Final Nights Norwich this month.

Tried a new outfit and had an amazing encounter set in Norwich Cathederal with a group known as the Choir wanting to find sanctuary in the court and then later negotiating the return of the Prince of Paris's ghoul that we had totally kidnapped.

While Im at it, this is my Event two Empire haul.
Not so many things as I would like but a friend did get me a copy of the looking glass because I am a very long term fan of the magazine.
That at the bottom is one of the seven different musical chimes we had to find in our Day realm treasure hunt.

And yes that is my one and only cow wane!

Empire Event two
I had a good weekend with a mission to save the White wood in Skarsind through the power of music, we went on a treasure hunt to collect chimes, learnt music, had band practice and I even learnt to conduct an orchestra.
Fourty musicians gathered in the regio and we pulled it off!

Dune Awakenings - Moss and Newt Adventures
Got a new game to run around climbing things and getting covered in sand. So far after day one of early access its been really good.
Really enjoyed climbing around in the fire cave, didn't like the eyeball puzzle spice huffing experience. Want to play more.

Norwich that was ran at the weekend.
It might just be another Darkages Vampire game but it is ours and from what I can tell even with a fierce Earls election under a new system folks had a really good game.
Missed one encounter I'd have liked to run but its waiting for October now when we go again.

Norwich Gaming Festival - My first Card fair.
Found the magnum opus of Pidgey cards at the fair and though its over my card budget, the lady let me do a part trade and some coins to bring it home for my pidgey collection awwwww yis!
Note: I didnt go too mad on buying pokemon cards.

Mucking about at the local fighty larp Shattered Worlds as my character 'Sygne the very strong' adventuring around the UEA campus woods which looked gorgeous again even though the bluebells are all done with for the year.
It was really nice to hang out with larp kit with friends.

Had a blast at Camarilla, modern nights last weekend. Here are some of the highlight photos from our adventures sorting out the monster in the radio and celebrating Harold's Death-day with a round of shots in the Tremere clan meeting.

Was a good evening.
Now into the plot mines to write Darkages.

Menhir's Fate my collection of treasures from the weekend, its not much as there hasn't been enough time for people to start making and peddling things but I did trade for this wonderful map with another Urdrevan traveller and it is ossum.
Anwyn also created my holy symbol and I loves it the most.

Made some cute kit last week for Menhir's Fate.
A new fest larp here in the UK where I get to play a sort of Dinosaur Nomad person who like the traveller god.

Went to try out the new tent in the garden and this little froggie leapt in the way of Alex's foot, nearly got stepped on. Thankfully not and I chased it off into a pile of pots and leafs. 100% the best froggie though, very pretty green and look at those webby feets!

After so much stress and not getting an Elite Trainer box for the new Prismatic Evolutions pokemon card set I had given up hope. Then somehow won a lottery to have the chance to buy my own box for retail price (dont pay scalpers).
So far so good, Got this Eevee in the first two packs yay!

Went to local larp at the UEA, was a laugh.
We totally got told off running around the sculptures. I think its a good thing they've changed to hosting only once a month now and it feels like more folks make an effort to go, even if we were just there weapons practicing before Menhir's fate starts.

We can kill the nativity tree too, dont you worry

We ran Darkages on Sunday and it was good.
I was reminded of all the reasons I started hosting a larp. We told a story, took our players on a journey and made something that will be remembered in a good way. Not just by these two scamps in the final encounter. The Tremere Regent and his Gargoyle.

Tomorrow we head back into the realms of running our Darkages larp, its been over a year since our last game. We were forced to take the time off by RL being awful.

I feel like its day one again back in 2018. I am more than a little anxious about this, can we still give folks a good adventure?

TRINKET TRADING!
I traded away all of my trinkets at Larp con and these were the treasures that I aquired from visitors to my stall, one giant rat and a mimic's mouth.
Can't wait to do this again next time.

LarpCon and the Holy Grail.
Brought my little shop to the convention, had a wonderful time with the wheel of froggie destiny and all my little pottery things. I had new horns from Mandala for my Tiefling and shared the weekend in the company of friends scheming for Menhir's fate and Empire.

I was wisked away for a mysterious adventure to wales for my birthday. I didn't know where I was going and when we arrived it was dark so come the morning the whole of Harlech castle was there. .

Its been magical.
We visited a castle and the sea in the same day.

Went to Concordia Esoterica at the weekend an Conclave themed Empire player event, taken a few days to process but it was a good if short event with the wonderful backdrop of Oxford town hall for its magical politics - look at those pristine wood trimmings!
Was very odd being an orc but I loved it.
