What grade do you teach?

My partner teaches high school geology & astronomy and I think this is the first youth trend that has defeated her and her colleagues.

Normally they would embrace the meme while being slightly cringe and the kids would stop, but this one was cringe from the start.

Those signs are the worst. They were blindingly bright at night, though I heard they turned them down after people complained. Still awful, though.

A flag with a ying-yang design is attached to the truck's tailgate, probably in reference to the T&C Surf brand, which was popular in late 80s/early 90s and used a ying-yang in many of its designs. The crowd in the stands consist entirely of rows of circles. It appears the child ran out of room while trying to add stadium lights at the top of the page. Additional cars were probably planned to make the jump more impressive, but the child lost interest and moved on to other things. Probably.

I've been going through boxes of old stuff this weekend and came across this drawing I probably made around 1990 (5th/6th grade). Monster trucks were just starting to go mainstream, with ads for events at the Cow Palace playing frequently on TV & radio.

Still better designed than the Cybertruck.

As a Californian, I think it's safe to say most of us find him extremely exhausting for one reason or another.

And, sure, owner caps too, as long as the remaining profits go to stadium staff, maintenance, and lowering ticket prices.

None of these things will ever happen, of course, but it's nice to dream.

Do it! It's a lot of fun. I love playing the games from my youth, especially Hard Drivin' (when it's there), Toobin', and that one pinball machine about tornados that turns on a fan pointed at you when you encounter one. A friend of mine runs the Rock Band stage every year, which is always a blast.

I believe no one should be earning hundreds of millions from playing a sport, and no team should have a tiny payroll so the owner can reap as much profit as possible. They've lost all sense of sportsmanship.

Sports are meant to be competitive, but now it's only the wealthiest that can win.
