After returning home from a Halloween party overnighter, we've binged 'The Addams Family', 'Addams Family Values', and now 'LOTR: The Fellowship Of The Ring' the extended edition. This is very intentional, as it's our first anniversary today and we were inspired by these for the wedding aesthetic.

Unabashedly loved 'Ernest Scared Stupid', and still do, especially when this was one of the few spooky movies we were allowed to watch as kids and did annually for Halloweentime.

Just to clarify, and controversial take, but I fall into the camp of those who rather liked 'Friday the 13th Part V'. But if you've seen it and 'Hellraiser: Hellworld', you'll understand why I drew the comparison.

Was a shorter guys' night, but we still managed to squeeze in 'Hellraiser: Hellworld'. We were hoping for something like 'Stay Alive', but we got more 'Friday the 13th Part V' instead. Wasn't bad, just not all that good either. Oh well, they can't all be winners. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ended the evening with a double-feature of 'Halloweentown' and 'Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge'. For made-for-tv movies, the make-up and costumes were better than they had any right to be. Missed out on them as a kid, but my wife was able to share these with me in more recent years.

Rewatched 'The Autopsy Of Jane Doe', first-time for the wife. Reminded me of the vinyl soundtrack released to resemble a body bag slip and album where her "torso" opens to reveal a veiny-colored record. One of the coolest records in my collection, TBH.

Postponed our weekly guys' night to Saturday and put on two picks: mine was 'Spell' (2020), his 'Dark Circles'. The first would pair great with 'Skeleton Key', IMO. As for the other, well, let's just say I wouldn't recommend to new parents. 😅 Pleased with both endings, especially the second.
