Tenna offered him a soft, tired smile—one that carried a genuine warmth despite. It was strange, standing here with someone she’d 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥—finding comfort in his presence. She shifted her weight, hand coming up to absentmindedly rub at her ring finger… a nervous tic she was still developing.

She takes a shaky breath, trying to keep the static out of her voice. "He... he was worse to me than you know. Worse than anyone could possibly know, really... Except maybe... maybe Spammy."

Tenna winces, a subtle, painful grimace that flickers across her screen at his mention of not knowing the "full extent." It’s a mercy, really, that he doesn’t. The full extent is something she can barely look at herself, let alone explain to someone she once murdered.

His voice skips, a digital hiccup. He doesn’t pull away; instead, he melts backward. He tilts his head back, screen buzzing against Tenna’s shoulder. His tail—a jagged, twitching thing—winds tightly around Tenna’s leg, anchoring him there.

"Y-y#u seem... awfully c-c̷l̸i̵n̶g̵y̷ today. D1d you mi55 me...?"

The moment those arms loop around his waist, Hijack’s frame instinctively tenses, relaxing as his body recognizes the presence. He’s purring, now. It’s a low, broken sound, like a hard drive spinning too fast, but it’s undeniably happy.
