London's homicide figure is 6 times lower than LA, 9 times lower than Miami, 17 times lower than Chicago.

I’ll be honest I can’t abide any of the ‘leading’ political journalists. Not one stands up as someone with integrity and impartiality. The ones we see daily and on Sundays look bought and paid for and it’s obvious they’re on a mission. 🤮🤮

I’m not saying I won’t moan about it when the time comes to pay, but I think the Govt should raise my income tax because I am profoundly worried about the state of public services.

Ultimately it comes down to what you're going to say at the next election.

Would you rather say "we broke our pledge but at least things are better" or "everything's still shit but at least we kept our pledge"?

This action was avoidable and is hugely damaging to the public support the doctors had with them last year.

I know you don't mean that literally and I agree with your point. It'll be very low. Streeting is actually one of the few ministers who have a half decent story to tell right now. And going on strike after a sizeable pay rise while everyone in the country prepares for tax rises? Not a good look.
