As some of you must know, Itch has deindexed adult content from its platform. Most of the games are still available and can be accessed through links, collections and your library, but cannot be found by browsing the platform.

I don’t have any NSFW games on my itch. You know what I do have? Queer stories. Games that explore ace relationships. Games that explore gender diversity character’s lives. No mentions of anything to do with anything that wouldn’t be in a YA novel. All of my games have been delisted in Search.

For transparency I’m talking about this post. I don’t want to be drawing attention to something that might not be 100% true in this case. I don’t want to be spreading misinformation or lying.

I really don’t want the kind of attention I’m getting on this post.

Just for clarity: I was told games not showing up in search bar when typing is part of this. Some of my games used to show up in that search, but no longer do. I don’t know if it’s part of the same issue. I’ve removed LGBTQ tags.

Games that came up in search before this no longer do. My games and ones I worked on are still find-able on the site. I've also removed tags, hoping it might fix things.

I don't want to keep getting notifications which is why I've removed quotes from my comment.

I used the wrong word, I meant de-indexed. That's on me. Many of my games, and games I've worked on came up in the search bar when I searched before and now they don't.

Ooh interesting. That helps alleviate the worry a bit. Wild it’s not just like a known process. For instance Satan is an Astronaut used to show up, not LGBTQ and isn’t now. Inamorata, Is LGBTQ too used to show up but isn’t now. I’m not sure about the rest.

My smaller games don't show up (the one that's like 5 mins of game play) but the ones that I've worked on which are more popular have, and now aren't. I'm gonna do some tests to see if it was the LGBT+ tag or not.
