Interested in story and narrative poems. Have been writing since age 10. Over my life I have written hundreds of articles explaining geology to normal people. I'm politically moderate, socially tolerant of many sorts of people, and somewhat idiosyncratic. I check in here a couple times a week.

The titles of my books are Jack's Fork Journal, Alley Spring Diversions, Along Current River, The Rockhound Ranger Chronicles and The Paw Paw Almanac and Reader, co-written with Steve L. Nagle. Am working on Karst Tales and River Songs and Wayfaring Sagas, another compilation.

My now 31 year marriage started at a caving grotto. Me: a geology geek (who later got a degree). He had an MS in biology and worked at a state park cave. When we looked for a wedding officiant, found a Catholic priest who pioneered cave radio in IL. Married underground. Heart is a hole in flowstone.
