I really enjoy writing poems. I write most days.
I write poems for people then type them out using a typewriter, and send them anywhere in the world, all for free.

river going through a columnar joint volcanic deposit
Yes it is ! It's the ignimbrite from the "Aso-4" eruption. It's a very thick and welded pyroclastic deposit, probably one of the most widely spread deposit from Aso volcano.
The columnar joints part of the deposit is indeed beautiful 😍
(Takarada & Hoshizumi (2020) for more info I think 👍)

Sakurajima volcano in the background, with the showa crater venting a white plume of volcanic gas, and a few dolphins visible at the surface of the water in front of the volcanic island
Bonjour bluesky !
Let's start my activity here with a bit of Sakurajima volcano & dolphins 🌋🇯🇵🐬
