My mom toured Europe with her chorale group, twice, in the 80’s. Both times, she soloed the Ave Maria in the Notre Dame AND at the Vatican for Pope John Paul II. (I have a picture of her meeting him)

Good morning! I got my retired ass out of bed at 8 AM and I’m hanging out with the cats and knitting a red hat (it’s a Norwegian red hat, which were banned by the Nazis). Here’s wishing you a great day.

I just went back out this morning, I got about another 4 inches but I also had to do my sidewalk. And the snow was up over the front of my snowblower. (I have a 24 or 26 inch snowblower) and we’re supposed to get more this afternoon.

This is what my driveway look like at 6:30 tonight. Before I went out and snow blowed. It’s still snowing and I’m supposed to get snow until sometime tomorrow afternoon.

He makes me so hopeful. I wish others would follow in his footsteps. Imagine how amazing this country would be, if all politicians followed suit.

Do I shovel tonight after the Pats game or do I wait until tomorrow when it stops.
I don’t know.
I do have a headlight on my snowblower. But then I would have to do it again tomorrow to clean up.

I listened to his discography over the weekend in succession. I realized by the time I put the third album on, that I didn’t know what songs were on the radio, and what songs were not. Every single song, on every single album, is top-notch. I cannot wait for the new album.

My late husband had a Mazda 3. When he died, it had 330 K on it and I sold it for a couple hundred dollars to someone local. I then periodically saw it for the next year or so around town. (That was actually his third Mazda, an MX6, a 626 and then the 3).

Not only do I walk away with internal bleeding, I get to my house and help other people pack my house up so I can go into hiding.
