That aside, both series are shocking eye-openers. I can’t get over the All Saints girls being pressured to abort their babies, or how that tired old “our magazines won’t sell if we put black artists on the cover” bs was constantly pushed.

If I have a problem with both the BBC’s boyband and girlband docs, it’s the use of the word “band” to just mean groups of singers and dancers, and not groups with members that play instruments - resulting in a series on women in 90s pop with no mention of either Elastica or Kenickie.
