Just got my first Temporal Storm. Let's make that an 11/10 purely off of atmosphere alone.

Absolutely love how they mess up the chat text during these storms, really helps to sell the feeling of reality collapsing around you.

So I've been playing Vintage Story. I've barely made it into the pottery age, realised the first place I set up a base in was temporally unstable, am constantly running out of food and have to trek back several kilometers whenever I respawn.

10/10, would get mauled by wolves in Vintage Story again

Understandable. I feel the same way to be honest, this guy's now my personal version of Lonk from Pennsylvania.

Allegedly. My Undertale knowledge is limited so this character might be hiding a joke that I'm missing.

I wasn't expecting a StreetPass (they were rare even back when the 3DS was still current) but a Sans one was even more surprising. I'll have to try this every week from now on.

OH MY GOD I ACTUALLY GOT ONE

Leaving my 3DS in the bottom of my bag on sleep mode when I go to university today.

Probably not going to get a StreetPass, but I can at least cope.

As for where I'd rank it when going off of first impressions, it's below Soul Hackers but above Persona 1. Not sure whether I'd place it above or below Persona 5 (the modern Persona I like the least) yet though.

When I actually play more MegaTen games I'll probably make a tier list.

Been playing the infamous SMT & Fire Emblem crossover game Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE on my Wii U recently. It's actually kinda decent? Low budget as heck (they didn't bother dubbing it) but the combat and dungeons are actually pretty satisfying.
It's not what I would've done for SMT X FE though.

Listened to the zeroth episode of that Team Chaotix audio drama. It's pretty good!
Also, the theme song is great. Catches that detective vibe perfectly. Special props to the lines "Charmy will drive you mad" and "Chaotix need a win", because while Team Chaotix are losers they're our loveable losers.

Guess I'll talk more about Soul Hackers 3DS. That version adds voice acting and it's pretty good!

Special shout out to the character Finnegan who is voiced by Kirk Thornton. He literally just does his Shadow the Hedgehog voice for that character. It's hilarious.

Dammit, looks like the online "safety" crap is extending to the chat feature in Minecraft Java so I guess I won't be playing that anymore.

I was already drifting away from the game since I don't jive with the building focus of newer updates but this has been the final nail in the coffin for me.

I love my Vita, partly because it's the only relevant handheld to support Bluetooth audio. I mostly use mine for emulators, but I do have a small physical collection for it.

Can't comment in the motion sickness because I don't get that unless I'm in a road vehicle, but I'm only two dungeons in and Soul Hackers already feels like a much better game than Persona 1. P1 fizzled out after the third dungeon, but hopefully Soul Hackers will keep the good streak will keep up.

My 3DS copy of Soul Hackers arrived today. For those who aren't Megatennists, it's basically an occult cyberpunk RPG based on the dotcom bubble where a Satanic cult tries to steal people's souls through the internet.

I'm sold on it so far! One of the better 1st person MegaTens if you ask me.

You know what, I've been away from #Sonic3AIR long enough. I might as well get back into modding now.

Kind of tempted to restart my Sonic RPG because I started making it at a time when I hadn't gotten my head around object orientated programming yet so the code sucks.

I might try also try custom battle system instead of just ripping the one from SMT, even if the fan game still uses the spell names.

I can't believe we got Casino Calamity before Persona 6.

But, well, I'm not complaining. This video was really good; give it a watch.

Figured out how to overclock the Vita so I could get better performance on emulators.

Actually, the overclocking plugin can also underclock. Since the emulators I run on there are all software rendered, I just dropped the GPU and XBAR speeds to help save the battery a bit.

So for some reason I've decided to replay Pokemon Y. It was the first 3DS game I played back in the day, but does it hold up?

...sorta? It's inoffensive.

I have this one, but I still haven't played it because my Wii (and Wii U for that matter) is in storage.

Maybe I should rip my disc and use Dolphin? It supports real Wiimotes and does PAL games decently well from my experience, but it's more portable since I can run it on my laptop.

Tried out the Vita version of Terraria today because I wanted to see what the old gen console stuff for that game is like.

Haven't seen any of the new content yet but it's a cool port. Most of it so far's just readjusting to 1.2 and non-KBM input.
I'd much rather play 1.4 on PC, though.

I don't have the internet speeds for reasonable remote desktop streaming at reasonable quality levels and the latency will probably be through the roof, but if we get a proper GPU driver out of this I'll be happy.

Back in the day I used that thing more than the actual TV remote.
