can't sleep!!! bouncing off the walls with excitement bc my lover is moving to the city tomorrow and my heart is going to explode from happiness!!!

i didn't want to quit at first bc i wanted to try to line up a few other dogs to walk so i didn't take a huge hit to my income but i couldn't deal with it anymore. anyways. here's hoping i pick up a few gigs so i can hit my baseline going forward!!

at first it wasn't too wild bc it was normal communicating expectations and reminders regarding their dog's care. but then it devolved the past month. and they were clearly canceling walks to punish me for not reciprocating feelings + abusing their position of power over me as my client.

unfortunately i had to quit walking one of my dogs recently bc his owner was becoming extremely paranoid and toxic. i was getting walls of texts once a week accusing me of allowing their dog to damage their property, lying that i walked the dog, etc. they were also upset i didnt want to be friends.

i learned, to the best of my ability, to stop taking someone's behavior personally. if someone doesn't want to or can't show up for me, that's just the way it is. i'm good and i don't need to chase someone for anything when i can give it to myself and have others who do show up for me.

idk if i can call it that. is that like an umbrella term? i'm hypermobile which causes chronic pain + fatigue every day, and folks who are hypermobile have a harder time as the weather cools. cold = stiff muscles + my connective tissue doesn't act as it should = major flares eeeeep!!

last week i was bedridden and slept 15+ hrs for 3 days in a row. the exhaustion and pain were so consuming and not a whole lot brought me relief... i'm going to take it easy so i don't overdo it too bc i don't want to trigger another flare if possible!!

wow it's wild that the october crash is really real and awful! i didn't realize this was a common experience with chronically ill folks until this yr and having a name for it helps me sm. thankfully it seems that i've adjusted and i'm feeling human the past few days. hoping this continues!!!
