So many things are changing so rapidly. It’s making my head spin. Change is inevitable, I know this well. I just didn’t expect so much to happen at once, I’m not ready. Trying to brace for impact but struggling.

No kittens yet, but I’m hoping for tonight or tomorrow because I felt her tummy just now and MAN everybody is kung fu fighting in there

I’m so glad I went out and got this for her today - she wasn’t thrilled with the beds we had for her, but she loved the dog bed she got to lay in after I caught her at my aunt’s, so I went and got a similar one. She’s so happy 😭

Lol I am so excited for kittens and like nobody cares/is matching the energy and I did not expect to feel so…like alone in this? Whatever. KITTENS are on the way.

Update: Momma is now named Phoenix Bastet, is safe and in my home, health check went great, and we’re looking at 6 kittens!!!

Awwwh! I think of your kitties every time I see the long haired ones!!

My big goal this year is to get ALL of these cats fixed and at least find the young kitties I can socialize into good homes. If we can get the more friendly adults homes, that would be great, but focusing on the babies first as they are easier to socialize and find homes for.

It’s my goal to get momma to my house, get her to the vet for a health check, let her and the babies live in my home until they are old enough. Get momma fixed and release her, get babies fixed and into good homes.

My aunt takes care of about 12 stray neighborhood cats, she can’t take any in because she’s allergic. But I’m so glad someone is feeding them. I made her a cat house little over a year ago to help them stay warmer in winter.

I am currently trying to catch a very pregnant momma cat that lives outside, she is about to pop :X she had a litter in both spring and fall last year and her young kittens still follow her around.
