I was late to the party but in 94/95 discovered Minutemen through a friend bringing over DNotD on CD and playing it on repeat whilst playing NHL 95' on Genesis. Also he had been hearing about this little band from Amherst, MA (close by).

I have such weird blind spots for directors I love. I still haven't seen LToC or The King of Comedy. After Hours is completely slept on by most, so, so good!
