As myself and Ranih were talking about Scotland as a possible honeymoon destination, a friend of ours gave me this today. He said 'Try something Scottish.'

It's similar to something on Trill but not the same colour. What we have, made a similar way, is called Quoyucpoi. It's dark blue.

I'm working from the orbital station this week. Definitely a change of scenery. It also means I will get a good view when the USS Venture arrives in three days.

It's down to me to choose where we have our evening meal at the end of the week. Ranih chose the last one. I have plenty to choose from.

I'm stuffed. Absolutely gorgeous food. I had a dish they call 'The Star of the Show'. Half a pound of slow-smoked Texas style brisket, served with fries with a 'magic dust' sprinkle, gravy & coleslaw. I had a root beer float as a drink and finished with a frozen custard desert 'American Screwball'

It's the weekend again. I was in the gym with Rahin this morning. We did quite the workout and both of us are feeling the after effects already, achy.

Just at one of the many restaurants in the community centre having lunch now. Trying food inspired by the American South. Looks really good.

My uncle Jozef is coming to visit me next week. He has a strong fascination with Federation technological advancements so he is eager to visit the colony, specifically the orbital station.

His wife, my Aunt Zoatha, said that he is like a child in a sweet shop at the thought of visiting me.

Earth orbit

Here's a view of Docosie III from our Orbital Station. The Planet is quite like Earth but slightly smaller.

I might go on the next exploration trip to Docosie I and II. Both are desolate worlds, very inhospitable compared to Docosie III. I wouldn't be on away missions but would get to see them.

I've spent all day at our orbital station. The view of Docosie III from orbit is quite beautiful.

They seem to have a slightly different style of working up there. It does have a rather sterile feel about the place, being up in orbit. But I did enjoy the change of scenery.

The weather today isn't great but it's normal for this time of year on Docosie III. It's been said by a few colonists that the weather is very Earth-like, specifically Scottish weather.

As we are considering Earth for our honeymoon, Scotland looks like a worthwhile visit 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Inquiry Class Starship

From time to time, we have visitors from Federation starships having some well earned shore leave. The Colony has the capacity to handle up to 300 guests at our leisure complex.

Apparently, next week we will be receiving shore leave parties from the USS Venture, an Inquiry Class. Exciting.

It's non-stop today. I won't bore you with the details of it all but I've had three meetings already and it's only just gone 14:00.

Tomorrow I will be going up to our orbital office. Talk about a change of scenery. A dozen new colonists are arriving as well, so that should be interesting.

Ranih and myself are considering many options for where we could go for our honeymoon once married. Earth has been shortlisted along with Risa and Bajor.

I haven't, as Orzal, been to any of these worlds but I have as Jadzia. I do fancy returning to Earth, somewhat more than Risa. We will see.

Not only is there the usual busy period for this time of year but we are starting preparations to mark the colony's tenth anniversary next year.

It's remarkable how many different races call Docosie III, home. Human, Trill, Cardassian etc.

A few years before I joined with Dax, Lenara Khan passed away and Kahn was joined with a gentleman called Tarjem. I managed to avoid running into Kahn whilst as Ezri and hope to continue as Orzal. I'm engaged after all and I'm not one for breaking reassociation rules or my darling fiancée's heart.

Enjoying some live music this evening at the community hall. We have a few colonists who are quite talented singers and musicians.

Yes, you could use a holosuit to go see anyone from history and from any Federation world but live music is still the best in my opinion.

It's a gorgeous day and quite warm for this time of year, 15°C (59°F) with a light breeze.

I'm taking advantage of time to relax before the busy week ahead. Better to be busy than bored.

I'm home. It looks like I have some work to do in our back garden. The trees behind our back fence drop, like, a tonne of leaves. They are a native tree to Docosie III. Very tall with a wide canopy. Most of the year they have vivid green leaves until they turn red in Autumn & fill our back garden.

I'm on my way home now from Deep Space Nine. Overall a very good visit. Seeing and visiting the Aventine was unexpected but enjoyable.

A relaxing weekend ahead & then back to work. I have a lot of meetings next week. Plus the orbital station refit will be finished next week as well. Busy times.

USS Aventine.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a lump in my throat seeing her again through the docking ring windows. She looks very well. Her captain and crew have taken good care of her.

Stepping aboard her again is a strange feeling, with Ezri's memories flooding to the surface.

I had a wonderful chat with Captain Sam Bowers. It was good to catch up. He had the cheek to suggest, as Ezri, I was easier on the eyes. He always did have a cheeky sense of humour. He's letting me have a tour aboard the Aventine tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that.

My meetings went well today. Managed to sort a lot of things out for the Colony. I also found out that the USS Aventine is still in service. Her captain is the Executive Officer when Ezri was her captain. Sam Bowers. The Aventine is due to be at the station tomorrow. I might see if I can say hello.

DS9 Promenade with the Bajoran Temple entrance.

The promenade hasn't changed all that much. The Bajoran Temple is still here. I have bad memories here as this is where Jadzia was mortally wounded by the monster that was Gul Dukat. Not one of the memories I like having but that's one of the things you have to deal with being joined.

I'm not sure what to think at the moment. DS9 has changed so much since I was last here. Quark's is under new ownership. It's still a Ferengi fella but he bought Quark out. Some guy called Natek. I've left coming back for far too long. But I guess after 20 years things are bound to be different.
