it irks me to see well-meaning people validating a certain bullshit canard from bigots. there is no such thing as "detransitioning". you can't "undo" something that happened. you can only transition again. plenty of people shift gender expression multiple times throughout their lives. it's normal.

I should have made the video when the argument first came up, but I wasn't as comfortable with the camera then and my energy continues to be limited. My perspective is completely missing from the conversation because it's dominated by various flavors of capital owners.

All I'm going to say is that you should take somebody's personal class position into account in judging the material basis of their position on a contentious topic. It assists with elucidating the MISSING POSITIONS in an argument where it's clear every prominent participant in the discourse is wrong

Learn the lessons of the last decade -- the pitfalls of association politics, singleminded electoralism, state-institutional dependency -- and we can have a movement that builds true democracy. Fail, and the failures will rapidly compound into mass control the likes of which we've never imagined.

In the age of most advanced alienation, anything you can build, on any excuse available, to bring people together of diverse backgrounds, that transcends the fake divisions fracturing society, is a step forward. Don't shirk progress in the face of the massive tasks before us. We each have a part.

Workers exhausted by it all may frustrate you in their flippant acceptance of the situation, but the challenge is on you to build community that integrates them and makes the real world available to them at the pace they can handle, because their interests will not go undamaged in these times.

Liberals may have you pulling your hair out given how close they come and yet how far they fall from liberatory philosophy.
