Not gonna lie it’s super humbling since as a player I feel I know the rules but once I have to be judging they slip from my mind. This is in part because I don’t feel the actions being acted upon me and my view is from a distance. I made some bad calls not gonna lie.

It forces you to confront the mechanics that are set through the dynamics of play. In sports it is much faster and not as easy as it seems. Also you get people who are very passionate about the game who will try to sway you. You will be wrong as well but how you course correct in the dynamics is

Doing this outside of my normal soccer thread since it’s more about game design.

So we finished our 11v11 season with a major win of 5-1 while having less players on the field. Our lady players killed it since they had to be on the entire time, true MVPs!
I also got my reffing license and started to referee for indoor. In part because I want to but also because money is tight.

To turn off a ton of AI things that Microsoft is pushing in Windows 11 you should get winaero tweaker which is free. Also look up how to install Windows 11 without onedrive. It's annoying to do the first time but makes the experience so much better. I have to be on windows because of console dev.

Did you know that a ton of files are just zip folders in disguise? It helps to know especially for say Google Slides and you're trying to get all the images from a presentation. Download it as a PowerPoint file then rename it so it uses a .zip extention instead of a .pptx and open it up.
