I have complaints but my boss is great

I tripped out to my boss in my 1:1 and he was like "Nah this is all fucked, I don't agree with the other managers+, you all are weathering so much shit. And sometimes yeah, people will come to me and be like 'They're not helping me!' so I look and say 'They're trying but your escalations suck'"

Knowing that we just gotta (hopefully) make it another year and can start to make some things less god-awful fills me with dreadtermination

Tbh, one of the biggest saving graces of my shitty Utah job was that it was right next to a Frontrunner station and it helped knowing that if I decided "fuck literally everything" I could just take off and be in another state by the end of the day. Not having that makes jobs like this harder lmao
