It never gets old! Quite a few trips on the Maid Of The Mist when I lived in Ontario. Always a great destination for friends/family who visited from BC or overseas. Great photo!

Luckily we have a cool house but thinking more about shade structures and drought resilience as well as large capacity water storage.

We had an old Norwegian neighbour who sailed on the last of the working tall ships to the Grand Banks for Cod fishing. He retired to Canada near family. The locals seemed distressed that he caught and preserved the local βtrash fishβ. As a child it opened my eyes to new possibilities.
