Maalauksiani selaillessa tulin siihen tulokseen, että en ole tainnut maalata kyseisestä teemasta juurikaan. Pitäisiköhän asiaan puuttua tänä kesänä. 😄 Tässä nyt ainakin jonkinlaisesti teemaan sopiva digitaalinen maalaus, jonka maalasin omaan portfoliooni. Kiva että taidetorstai alkoi täälläkin! 🙂☀️

Went to the sea to paint last Saturday. Painting in the rain was difficult and uncomfortable really. 😄 I kind of like the markings that rain left in my painting though, so when I fixed this at home, I tried to do it super carefully.

One of my favorite portraits. Inspired by numerous portrait painters, notably Anthony Van Dyck & Lorenzo Lotto, I wanted her to be slightly distracted, immersed in 'waves' of paper. A big shout out to Claudia Rodriguez for modeling!
