For the past five years, I’ve specialised in copyediting and proofreading fiction and board games.

I've already taken a few of Louise Harnby's fantastic fiction editing courses, so it was a no-brainer to take another. I've just completed How to Line Edit for Suspense, and I'm looking forward to putting what I learned into practice.

Thanks so much for the excellent editing. You caught dozens of errors we thought we had taken care of in all our rewrites. Your style guide is truly impressive and it was thoughtful of you to put the Book 2 additions in red – very helpful. Book 3 of our trilogy is still in the first draft stage but you can be sure that we’ll ask you to edit it as soon as it’s ready. Independent fantasy fiction authors.
One thing I love about #copyediting fiction is completing style sheets. They help me and the author keep consistency in that book and later books in a series. So it was lovely to receive this feedback from my #indieauthor #fantasyfiction clients. ☺️

At the end of 2023, I #proofread the fantastic #histfic/#fantasy novel, The Cyclone's Eye, for debut author T. J. Farlow. It's a compelling read, and I can't wait for the author to write the sequel! I was thrilled to receive this testimonial from him😊.
