Hubby's car (formerly my late father's car) died on the side of the road a few mins from home. We are grateful he & kiddo could walk home from her work and it hadn't died yesterday while in the middle of nowhere on the hour drive home from vending. But, this is the 3rd major car fix in 2 months.

Thank you for making me giggle so hard the dogs came running to check on me.

Should I make a re-boxing video— like an unboxing video but way less cheerful?

I found out last night that a writing friend had passed. May the stories he wrote, memories shared, & worlds created live on in the hearts and minds that hold them.
May all the stories still unwritten when his creative spark rejoined the collective bardic fire find new hearts and hands to pen them.

My 17yo twins bought me a countertop dishwasher as a birthday gift so I can have less time standing on pain days and "not use all my spoons to wash the spoons."

Today I have to fight with it to make it work.

Twin 2: 42 is the answer to life. And you were taking too long in the shower.

When my hands aren't working for fancy, I let my hair dry in regular small-ish braids to get extra waves and then do small 2- part twists from hairline toward center crown (or closer to top of head as desired) & secure with butterfly clips or bobby pins. It makes a wavy waterfall and is out of face.

Thanks! It's not for another week and some change yet; my mom always sends cards early to make sure you have time to get yourself something before your day.
