After my call to the cops, I do believe they're right. After the cop being disinterested in helping me start a paper trail, I'm just assuming that the bigot neighbors are right.

They responded with "half of [this town] doesn't agree with your 'lifestyle'". I. Am. Cishet. I am cisgender hetero single mom running away from a DV situation involving a trans person. This is a very delicate and intricate trauma I'm trying to navigate with and for my kids.

I asked them to please tone down the hateful from grandma. They responded with my ex, who doesn't live here. And I said, it's affecting my children. You're setting them up for some awful shit in this community. Please just tone it down....

....but that only applies to the landlord discriminating. Not the other tenants.

Grandma spouts hateful Alex jones rhetoric, derails any conversation I may be having that involves my ex....who is my children's parent...who is trans. Everytime. In front of my kids. Completely derailed to spew hate.

The landlord is 82 miles away. Not on site. These people act like they own the place. Their family (who don't live here), friends, etc, have more rights to our common areas than I, my children, or my ESA dogs do.

To boot, the lease guaranteed housing free from discrimination....

I left a nightmare.

Only to find myself in a different nightmare.

I hate eastern Washington. Fuck these stupid racist prejudiced fucks who have nary two brain cells to rub together. Maybe if we are lucky, we will get a logical, rational thought.

I called the police non emergency line to just to start a paper trail. The officer who called me back flat out told me that no crimes are being committed and that full well within their right to discriminate and harass and intimidate and threaten because it's "political" and "free speech"

Oh me? I'm great. Life is awesome.

I'm teaching my dogs to use the bathroom toilet and setting up to get everything on delivery because it's been demonstrated to me very clearly I'm not welcome here, and I just signed a year long lease
