Poltergeist (1982)

#nw I love watching horror all year but August is when I jump into my more “traditionals” for the Halloween season. I almost always start with Poltergeist, which was probably my most watched horror film (until my year of They Live) & will always be a top 5 for me. Carol Anne! Carol Anne!!

I once put on “Song of the Birds” (from the 30s, it ends happy but takes a very dark turn in the middle) for a friend, showing the cartoons I grew up with. He said “this explains so much” 😅
