Yes, there are certain jobs where you can't afford to have an opinion. You have to go with the flow and be agreeable. If CEO say yes, you say yes. Of course, they can offer "team discussions" around that topic & seem like they offer a debate & the illusion of choice. But ultimately, we are cooked.

I am in my "my second chances are sold out" era. Giving slaps to any peeps displaying red flags.

Had a conversation with a "friend" who became increasingly condescending and started to pull a "sorry you feel this way". They are now so far in the past you'll have to use time travel to find them.

The fact you're out of work with that level and quality in your work is so mind-blowing to me, the marriage of capitalism and AI is really fucking us over. It's destroying the quality of human collaboration over profit.

All that said, I hope you're able to find something soon 🙏

Speaking in the context of people here but of course AI will inflate the wrong egos, we need to give keys to people about how to interact with each other again.

This. Also, both agreeing to your every word and not aggreeing & giving "helpful critic" can be manipulative.

I'll always pick a people pleaser who can be made aware and work on their habit over a covert narc. But it always depends on the context and also if that person's actions match their words.

I've been working on Monument Valley 3 as an artist and animator for the past 3 years and its just come to an end. These are some of the screens that I'm really proud of. Our team did such an amazing job on this game and I constantly feel lucky to be able to be a part of it.

Playing Clair Obscur Expedition 33 at the moment, and I never took as many screenshots in a game. (Barely 4h in)
