South Korea, World’s Largest ‘Baby Exporter,’ Admits to Adoption Fraud (Gift Article) A South Korean truth commission called for the country to apologize to those who were sent abroad “like luggage” so that adoption agencies could profit.

For adoptees, vindication, but also plenty more heartache and questions to come. I know very little about my birth family or circumstances (basically around 100 words)...how easy to leave out nuance or in many cases straight up invent fiction

I put this issue in InDesign at 6am during a flight delay at an airport bar over a pity ice water an employee came and poured me. 📖 there's some good writing in here all!
