Challenged myself to self-record an audiobook during the UK six-weeks holidays. How's it going?
Day 1: cancelled due to rain sounds.
Day 2: Abandoned when neighbours received loud visitors.
Tomorrow: who knows? 😅

The heat isn't kind. The bookmarks turned out better than expected and gave me a big lift.

Been MIA because I'm ill. Waiting for blood cultures for answers. Combined with POTS + UK heat it's been rough.

On the plus side my author bookmarks arrived & they're gorgeous! They'll be handed out at local fair stalls soon thanks to family support. 💜

I took the day off writing yesterday to get around to doing something I've put off for years. I finally have an author Facebook page. The learning curve is steep!

Yep! I said the same thing about first person present tense but here we are. 😅

I said writing my second novel with 2 POVs was difficult. I told myself I would never do it again.

So obviously my third novel is dual POV.

Exciting!

Today I wrote the first scene of my paranormal romantic comedy novel. It began as 3rd person past tense, changed to 1st person past tense halfway through, and is now happily in 1st person present tense. Am I funny? Who knows. I'm enjoying writing it.

12 printed pages of spreadsheet later, I have a taped combined book plot for novel 3. It's 90cm long. My chapter gaps are now filled in. I do it for every novel to see the bigger picture and gaps.

Next up: new Scrivener project.

I was going to live stream today but my day was completely derailed. I did manage to get some author and unavoidable life admin done which is something. Hopefully I'll have more time tomorrow for actual creativity.
