graphics and animation are the only places where extra budget does anything at all i think

i might eat my words if i ever play hollow knight but i think a lot of the appeal of metroid is that the games are all fairly small. they’re all v tight 5-8 hour long games and v replayable bc of that. i think there’s extremely diminishing returns from team size on those kinds of games

if umamusume was just this song and nothing else it would still be a top 5 franchise in the x but anime girls space imo
