tried bitwig bc I think ableton/bitwig style insert effects and drum racks seem useful but.. . .. . do people actually live with a sample browser this slow. I dont think I can get past having to wait half a second for each sample when scrolling through a list of drums

i think it’s an on by default option hidden in the settings somewhere and you’re not likely to notice yourself bc if you make videos you prob make them in the same language your youtube is set to

imo youtube should be liable for defamation due to the quality of their auto dubbing feature
whenever i click a video that has it on i think ive accidentally clicked on ai slop

cave story saturated the genre single handedly. there was a time when every new freeware platformer was a cave story ripoff

i tyhink the tutorial of every mmo should be you walk out of the level 5 starter area and get dumpstered by the elden ring limgrave horse guy

i guess newer games see any vague semblance of difficulty in the first 100 hours of gameplay as friction that mush be removed so that. players can get to the endgame or whatever without quitting bc they made a level 10 wizard upset at level 9. this sucks

i appreciate how wow classic is willing to kill you if you pull one too many mobs in the starter zone every other mmo makes it impossible to die until you do a raid

i never got into fighting games but there might be some competition there wrt number of moves you can make a guy do

maybe stylish action games too, idk i never got into to this either. maybe i’m just uncultured

mmos are also willing to make you press a lot more buttons than any other genre i can think of, i guess because you’ll be playing one character for prob hundreds of hours if you actually get into one.

worldbuilding extremely not necessary for story writing but......... its something you can do more systematically that can prob give a lot of inspiration i think? also i love worldbuildingslop
