Not weird at all. I personally think it's important to have these kind of discussions and I've had some brilliant ones with fellow creatives about it.
From a creative and LGBTQ stand point it is ground breaking and exciting, but right now things for us are very volatile.

I ended up on UC after being unfairly dismissed from my FT job last year (which employment laws didn't protect me from) and due to declining ill health I can only work PT. In the year I have been on it I have received maybe £300 in total, because every excuse to take money off me they take it.

The UK has the lowest pensions in Europe, the lowest sick pay, and Universal Credit is one of the poorest benefits in the EU.

The only decent benefit is Housing Benefit, which goes straight to landlords.
