Sony had plans for Marathon release for the fiscal year of 2025. This extends to Winter-Spring of 2026.

I get the feeling this is gonna live on if the alpha community wills it. There’s a huge lore nerd following (myself included), plus there might be some people that are interested in something like Metal Gear Solid /GitS style PvP but with Halo/Destiny gunfeel.

1) Yes, plagiarism is bad and the artist should be compensated for their work. No, the art direction won’t go anywhere; Wipeout and GitS are huge inspirations for the visual aesthetic and it shows.

2) The alpha had *mixed* reviews…

Finally played GRIS in one sitting.

Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. Without a single word, it speaks volumes about video games as art. And the soundtrack! I literally clapped when the credits rolled.
