We text and talk on the phone, even FaceTime but it’s not the same. We’re both doing the best we can, we’re a strong Black union of love. I won’t give up on that so easily, especially when he treats me like a literal Queen. I have no complaints about him or his character.

Long distance is hard. I haven’t seen my man since March. In the past I said I would never do long distance but life or God had other plans. He’s a really good man I’m just struggling with the lack of physical connection as that’s my love language alongside quality time.

We’re stronger together not apart, be gentle to one another.

I feel every time the Black community attacks one another the white man wins because they want us to tear one another down and not come together. They fear what we can do when we do come together because of our history.

I was also told by a Black women that I could have my own community with the “mixed kids” like were some second class citizens to the community. We have to stop this….attacking our own people and acknowledge the existence of those mixed with Black and white and that mixed people come in variety.

I was called an impersonator like Rachel Dolzel, accused of Blackfishing, silenced repeatedly when I spoke on Black issues. I was even told I can’t face racism because I’m too light. I’ve faced a lot of ignorance but I was shocked by these statements.

For starters on threads I was constantly having to prove I was Black to a lot of the Black community. Many people made assumptions I was mixed and when i showed a picture of my two Black parents I was told “oh well you more white than mixed to me”

I really love the Black community on Bluesky. I get treated better on here than when I was on threads.

You’re telling me a president who has shown time and time again to be blatantly racist suddenly cares about the persecution of Nigerian Christians in a country he hasn’t cared about before? Nicki was just the puppet and the Trump administration have a hold of the strings. You cannot sway my opinion.

Think about it….Nigeria is quite rich in oil and America is a big contributor to the oil industry. Not to mention Trump is “America First” so please explain to me why he would care about anyone outside America especially those who he would consider “Black” if they were in America.

Nicki Minaj Speaking on religious persecution via the Trump administration is a red flag in itself but more so that she can’t realize she’s being used as a puppet to push a certain agenda. Trump doesn’t care about Nigerians nor the persecution of those who happen to be Christians.

Everyone having a home, food, and universal healthcare isn’t a radical idea capitalism just made you think you’re undeserving of these very things if you don’t work for them and that your shortcomings are your own fault.

The struggles of the poor are largely due to corruption, greed, capitalism. But they have fooled you with these false slogans of encouragement. You call out the flaws of a broken system and they claim you can’t take accountability. A projection from the people who are part of the problem.

“Pull yourself up by your bootstraps” is a quote used to guilt trip poor people when they so much as struggle in life. The blame of your struggles is placed upon the individual claiming they didn’t work hard enough, get a better job, etc.
