25.01.2026 21:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Council just unanimously voted to change City policy - the new 'community liaison groups' will not be open to the public.
This Council term has seen even further decreases in transparency --- the opposite of the promises every single member of council ran on during the 2022 election. #yhmcc

Correct me if I am misunderstanding, are you saying because this is new territory (building an outdoor shelter) they had a right to make such grave errors? because one thing they do have experience with is procurement and they just didn't follow their process so I don't buy that as an excuse..

a gun was recovered in Jamesville a few months before it was demolished, (confirmed by talking to person who found it and seeing the photos) never heard a thing about it.

17.12.2025 06:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0this mzo was marketed to Hamiltonians as a solve to the housing crisis-yet the mayor-has allowed private market development ahead of the affordable. Perhaps I am wrong, but Hamiltonians have been duped-my guess is it will be 8-10 years before any affordable housing is there.Did you read all 600+

19.11.2025 21:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do you know these were "gifts"? I understood them to be from the tourism department, spread out amongst city employees. I can't see the post, (blocked) but I read in the SPEC about an email
conversation they had that contradicts his public statement.
"However, Horwath said Kroetsch emailed her after she informed council about the decision and told her he thought it was the βright choice.β
I may be wrong, but I believe they can be across the street and on the street such as a moving vehicle. just not on the property or block.
