Me: *Understands the thought process behind it but stubbornly tries to succeed my own way even though that way clearly doesn't work*

Like why do people try to help me be productive and when it constantly doesn't work it feels like I'm a lab rat and we're trying to figure out the best ways for me to do a simple task without getting distracted by something mundane and stupid

Bruh why can't I do the flippin dishes within 20 minutes

Sometimes I hate that my brain functions differently

Like I hate that I have to have several accommodations for things that are easy for normal people

And the Pokemon, while in auto battle, can use techniques it learned in training mode! Like the AI could learn choose the best course of action depending on the customizable battle ground and circumstances.

Long talk, I know. I just want this to be REAL

Oh yeah, and they could go into a training mode. You can train your Pokemon by having them either command battle (controlled by trainer) or auto battle against each other. A Pokemon will automatically
auto battle if there are no commands from a trainer for extended periods of time.

Ok I didn't mention this

The point of the battlefield is so the pokemon could actively move around it, either on a track, or they're on wheels. But if you tell them to dodge, they'll move a specific number of spaces depending on their damage level and the move they use.

So damage affects movement.

One last thing

You actively have to catch Pokemon to get a figurine of them from a website or something and you'd do that through a Pokemon Go like app which would also require you to go outside. So it has health benefits too.

That's my pitch

Whaddaya say, Nintendo? This could be so whimsical...

There can be a sensor connected to the battlefield that you can hold Pokemon cards over to use a heal or something, but if there was some sort of tournament with these things, you aren't allowed to use more than three or something like that.

Oh, and your Pokémon responds to praise, too! :D

You could also use voice command to tell the Pokemon what to do. Commands must always start with "Use" and end with a move name that is available to your Pokemon. You don't have to take turns with another trainer to move. It all depends on who's faster.

After they're sat on their sensor and on the battlefield, the Trainer (you) could use an app on their phone or a separate device to give the Pokemon commands. Like if you're up against another trainer, you can both tell your Pokemon to use moves with small cooldowns to battle in real time.

What if

We made little figurines of Pokemon, and they had a little flat thing they could be sat on top of, which had a move/damage sensor on all sides. Then, they could be attached to this board that resembles a battlefield.

Their dynamic would be so dumb

An would be trying to keep him and several people associated with him alive for the first half of their relationship

"How was your day, Rui?"

"Oh, it was fine. Classes were chill, Mizuki showed me some new music, I shot Tsukasa out of a canon, yknow..."
