Dang. The end of this interview was so lovely. The co-host of the podcast, Lee Sunsea, said some genuinely nice things. He was saying how XLOV will probably always receive some hate for being "different," but that he personally appreciates them persevering and offered them support if they need it.

I love XLOV. They went on their first Korean interview show (they're still rookies who debuted this year!), hosted by Hong Seok-cheon, one of the few openly gay Korean celebrities. Rui said this, and Wumuti said lots of things about gender and societal expectations.

I haven't been on here this week b/c I've been SO sick and in a ridiculous amount of pain. I finally went to the emergency room this morning and I have a kidney stone and a UTI (from said stone). 100% the most painful thing of my entire life, no joke.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A kind of spoilers ahead. Just a little.

WTF is the Roto-Glide?? It picks me up. It /throws/ me into the air, and maybe I land where I want to land. Or maybe I fall all the way to the ground from the top of a building. You can't jump. You must fall and then glide. 🙃

I have gluten issues and there's something about Twizzlers that just wrecks my body. I can eat an actual piece of bread and be pretty okay. But I eat one fun-sized Twizzler and my mouth starts to itch and my stomach twists.

When I'm nearby, I've been turning the heating pad on and off for him every so often so that he doesn't get too hot or too cold, like a tiny little prince. 😅

Oh god. I've created a monster. My elderly cat was chilly, so I turned the heating pad for him (on very low & only when I'm supervising him, & it's on for a short time). He got comfortable on my giant Comfy sweatshirt thing, so I put the heating pad over top, like a tent. He hasn't moved for hours.

My cats are all acting like it's freezing in the house. It's 68°F in here! I'm wearing a sleeveless nightgown and I'm perfectly fine. They're covered in fur and think it's the coldest thing they've ever experienced. 😅

I had a migraine all freaking day. I was trying to browse social media b/c I was sick of laying in the dark doing nothing. I read two sentences in Korean on a post, understood it, and then my migraine brain made me acknowledge that out loud with, "Ah, sí." Qué?! No es "sí." Es "네."

The nurse who called me about my bloodwork said my CRP (inflammation) levels were "normal." When I spoke to my doctor, she said they were at 25, which is not normal. 🙃

It's so satisfying when I can understand something in Korean without having to look up anything in the dictionary. Like dang, all of my work learning the language is actually doing something.
