You have no idea how many times I wanted to give up, but I'm happy I stayed. Fighting games are my biggest hobby, especially organizing, promoting and preparing events.

Too many other people gave up and it's nice to see someone giving us a chance to avoid X.

Just had a chat with an old FGC friend and oh boy, I think the PS2 era was the best.

It was THE platform to play on. You just brought the console and a memory card, you didn’t have to care about DLCs, overheating, input lag (CRT TVs).

Even the T5DR era on PS3 was great, things were simpler.

But I loved MGS3 so I’m enjoying how great the locations look 😎

- You can feel the missing perfectionist in the team, Kojima isn’t there (just like there’s no Jobs at Apple anymore and it shows in iOS)

- Buy it if you love and want to relive MGS3, otherwise it’s not a 70-dollar game

Last one about MGS Delta:

- It seems like the general sentiment is “it’s a good-looking dogshit game”

- The controls are ass, the devs seem to not have really played the original, unintuitive for MGS players

One thing though: The controls really suck.

And the legacy controls? Those are not legacy at all. You HOLD DOWN FOR CODEC?

MGS Delta impressions:
- Visuals are great. I am quite conservative but the updated faces (which make a different impression) grew on me.
- Controls responsiveness should be much better.
- Expected little more Phantom Pain controls.
- Still love the story and can’t wait for online mode.

Hav le you played the Subsistence version of the game? It had a similar camera to help out with spotting enemies.

It’s simple, Konami was just too afraid to try something new. They’re fan-servicing us, and showing Hideo Kojima’s name everywhere to signal they’re the good guys.

I find it interesting how the PS2 controls were better and felt more responsive.

For me, reliving the story is enough, but for others?

I am so READY for Delta. Please, don’t disappoint me.

Almost 30 players coming to our local tomorrow, it will be hard to even fit. 20 ppl for SF6, 17 ppl for Tekken 8, 9 ppl for Fatal Fury bracket.
