the worst is that this isn't even all of what i owe. and i will probably have to pay for medical bills for at another 6-12 months.

i made a new friend at my radiation therapy session yesterday.

they're on the brink of losing their home because of all the medical debt

their family members are coming together to pay some of it off.

that's really scary

i've been successful in getting reductions on my medical bills and some aid from public donations to the hospital here & there, but without an income or family support, I can't cover the rest.

i received a grant of $21K odd for radiation therapy and that is why i am able to go to these sessions.

i have applied to several financial aid programs for cancer patients. several applications to drug trials (i know thats not always ideal, but at least then most of my medical expenses would be covered).
