Yes that's how tariffs work. It also makes people in the target countries think more carefully before buying products from the USA. Furthermore I'll certainly not be bringing any tourism revenue to the USA while he's President.

I have to disagree. He plans to break up NATO and he's about to accomplish that.

I agree with the sentiment but my pedantic self always reminds me that America is in fact a couple of continents and I believe originally referred to South America, not just the USA.

My view is that Mr "Might is right" Trump wants to bring about the dissolution of NATO. I suspect he'll achieve this with his latest moves.
