Attendees will learn about California's immigrant protections, including sanctuary and transparency laws, as well as specific tenant rights for immigrants facing housing discrimination. This workshop provides crucial knowledge to help you stay safe.

Our next general meeting will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the (smaller) RE building at the UUCA, though this may change if we find a more comfortable location. Light snacks may be provided. At the meeting, members will discuss and vote on new business such as establishing officer positions and creating a durable steering committee, and the roles and responsibilities of such. Send us an email or dm for the link to the agenda. If this kind of business sounds exciting and you want to have a say, please join us! If not, we understand. Please keep an eye out for announcements regarding workshops and social events. We are seeking partners in running regular tenant know-your-rights workshops across the city. If you know of an organization with the interest and capacity in doing this, or are a part of one yourself, please send us an email or dm. Current Activities, January 2025 Tenants United Anaheim is not, at this time, conducting direct, in-person outreach. If anyone you do not know knocks on your door claiming to represent Tenants United Anaheim, do not let them in or provide them with any personal information. Please immediately send a notice to tenantsunitedanaheim@gmail.com or @tuanaheim on Instagram, Facebook, etc. A representative will only come to a residence at the request of a tenant or group of tenants. TUA may still be conducting general outreach, be it by word of mouth, online interaction, public events, or in concert with other organizations. TUA at this time is also not soliciting or accepting funds or dues of any kind. TUA has no bank account, PayPal, or anything of the sort, and any requests to donate to TUA should be flagged as illegitimate. Likewise, TUA at this time is not making offers of rent assistance/relief, and any such instances should be flagged as illegitimate. If any of the above changes, an update will be posted on our website and social media.
