This week we secured a major step forward for renters — My ordinance banning algorithmic rent price fixing passed out of the Homelessness and Housing Committee!

Now it’s moving to the full City Council for a first hearing on the morning of Wednesday, April 2nd.

Both the Algorithmic Pricing Ban and the Social Housing Study passed the Homelessness and Housing Committee to the full council today. The next step is going to be getting them passed in the full city council meetings. 💪
