Why do people keep taking him seriously? That's not what you're supposed to do when an idiot takes the stage.

Please forgive my naivety, but why exactly does anyone take anything trump or any of his goons have to say seriously? When I was growing up, if anyone said something stupid, they were immediately told by everyone around them to pull their head in before it got thwacked. When did the rules change?

So I hear kash patel's attempt at YA fiction was a bit of a disaster.

I saw and heard you lamenting not knowing what to do in the current situation. There's only ever been one way to deal with malevolent and deceptive tosspots, and that's always been to call them out for the effing idiots they are, instead of taking them seriously.

If who we are, and what we can be is so obvious to a machine, why do some of us seem to struggle with such a basic concept?

We are human. And that is something precious to be valued, celebrated and revered. Not destroyed and discarded.

Clearly, there are some humans in the world today, even some who control the levers of justice and freedom, who do not share this view.

When I'm told I can't say or do something, I find it useful to ask whoever is telling me not to say or do that thing, to tell me PRECISELY, in infitessimal detail, what I CAN say and do.
