also without going into spoilers... the extra lore and interaction sprinkles... omg..... some of them were ones i used to dream of being answered in fact

THE MOUTH FLAPS ANNOY THE FIRE OUT OF ME. but i was able to ignore them mostly. i wish characters made faces instead of always blinking calmly. it works for folmarv, who hardly emotes-- but not for delita declaring he's going to beat the shit out of argath!!

but a few here and there, who I won't name bc I want to focus rn on what i enjoyed, felt... idk. they felt as though their voice actor was not given enough direction or the wrong direction. reading ! sentences with a . sort of punctuation if you catch my drift. it's not rage worthy but. sigh yk?

ok enough about the gameplay im here for the PLOT (ranking character voices)

the characters that did not have voices before really shine so far in this version. Alma, Tietra, Zalbaag, Argath-- I've liked most of their voices at least okay enough.

ramza and delita va's grow on me--

being able to undo movement is for me a godsend though so i'll forgive the enhanced version menus AND the fact that they took out the map rotation sound effect. (i am unfortunately someone who gets upset when the crunchy psx sfx is replaced or smoothed)

let's talk gameplay b4 i explode: qol is fanTASTic except in pockets where i hate it solely on muscle memory. key example? the job class/equipment menus. i fumble around those BAD because i keep treating them how they used to be. my boomer-ist take is those were better in older fft versions
