I've never felt sadder to have schadenfreude. Some of these videos are of people realising he hates them...so do they understand now how hate speech becomes action? How do they feel about bullying speech now? Will they get genuinely interested in how governance should work now? I hope so.

P.S I know Australia not impacted, it’s just me thinking out loud about impacts like this generally. Here this would potentially prevent some workers being able to buy protective equipment.

Here in Australia, things like work boots are expensive enough. If this includes things like steel capped boots (both shoes and steel is impacted) then this impacts workers protective equipment by a lot of money. Again, workers paying for this trade war.

Employing people with criminal records is a DEI initiative when done appropriately. But you don't put bank robbers in charge of banks. Unlike US Presidency, which doesn't seem properly merit-based or checked & balanced at all (unlike DEI which is heavily scrutinised). *my personal opinion only*
