I've had a problem with moderation since I was a teenager, but I couldn't see it until a handful of years ago and even then, I didn't want to. Your brain will lie to you to try and keep addiction alive and it's frightening that you don't know it until you're on the outside. I was spiraling and not coping with so much loss and trauma. I’m deeply grateful for the love and encouragement that has surrounded me every step of the way and I like the person I am today. I'm recovering and here's to tomorrow and the next day and the one after that. Big love
