We found more than 170 such incidents since the start of the second Trump administration. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes nearly 20 children, two of whom have cancer.

I grew up watching women go from secure to dire straits when their husbands split, leaving them with no assets or savings, a bunch of kids, and no child support because he hid income (putting acts in girlfriend’s name). So, yeah, not a good deal.

I would consider being a “trad wife” if there were also laws for “trad husbands”. You know: the return of alimony if he strays, joint finance laws that give me 50% of our assets, good child support (no hiding assets), oh and husband needs to earn enough to support me and all the kids well have.
