CyDen started as a spin-off from Swansea University and has grown into a >£100m company. The HQ, manufacturing, development and clinical testing all take place in its home town.

Yesterday we welcomed our valued friends from the Nordic and Benelux region.

They are here because Wales is an innovator and they were keen to find out more about our work. I really enjoyed discussing our economic links, including in the space of renewable energy and other high-growth sectors.

It was good to attend the Tata Transition Board meeting yesterday, where it was agreed that the first of the growth and regeneration projects in Port Talbot will receive £8.2 million from the Tata Steel / Port Talbot Transition Board.
