Panel 2 That's silly. Who doesn't like coconut? Nate attempts to persuade August to try his delicious cake. Nate: How about one bite? August: I'll try it, but I don't like coconut. Panel 3 Victory is assured! Nate is positive that once August tries this cake he's going to love it. August tries a bite. Nate: It's great, right? August: Sorry, I don't like coconut. Iris: Are you getting your kid that new video game system? Panel 2 August has been considering the new game system carefully and has weighed all of his options. He calmy explains his position on the matter while waiting for his cup of "Cheap Noods" brand noodles to cool off. August: It would be irresponsible to buy one. What if he broke it? Panel 3 Iris and August stare at each other for a moment. Their break room has posters that says "HAVE A NICE LUNCH BREAK. BUT NOT TOO LONG" and "WASH HAND SAVE LIFE" with a picture of an individual washing his hand while saying "IM HELPING". Once again, these posters were designed but the person in the office who has a passion for graphic design. Panel 4 Iris knows what's up. Iris: So you bought two. August: I bought two.

Panel 1 Mrs. Birdshout is distributing cupcakes to students. She is firmly devoted to this task of sugary treat distribution and has been up all night planning. Mrs. Birshout is in dire need of a hobby. Mrs. Birdshout: Remember, it's one cupcake per student. And the blue is for boys and pink is for girls. Panel 2 Gustopher takes a blue cupcake and Olivia takes a pink. While neither of them are too concerned about the color of their cupcakes, they are confused that they would be distributed in such a manner. Gustopher: Why is blue for boys and pink for girls? Mrs. Birdshout: That's just how it is. Olivia: But why? Mrs. Birdshout: Because- Panel 3 Mrs. Birdshout doesn't know what to say. She feels that there has to be a concrete reason to connects these colors to these genders but she's drawing a blank. She just keeps staring into the distance. Panel 4 Mrs. Birdshout's world is shattered. She doesn't know what to think. She watches the sunset and begins to question everything.
