Recently, while Alexandra Verheul and her family were hiking in Fiordland National Park, they unexpectedly encountered New Zealand's famous kea parrots. Unnoticed by them, a kea snatched a camera that had been placed on a railing.

The names of all things have significance, but a person's name has a special meaning. Once given, a name is forever associated with an individual: a face, a voice, a walk, a smile, a laugh. Those of you who have known Matty through his first year will already have connected his name with his ways and his characteristics, his unique personality. His name will continue to be spoken, whispered, shouted, cried, sung and written; and he will hear it on the lips of family and friends, teachers, lovers, colleagues and perhaps one day children and grandchildren. His name will mean him, all the days of his life.

That last sentence says it all. The idea that if you do everything "right" this regime won't harm you. They've been very clear that they have every intention of harming you, your kids, your elected representative, whoever they want.
