NGL a lot of this kind of talk stemmed from tumblr, and thinking about it now most people on tumblr are NOT as progressive and they think they are, so maybe its not that surprising that regular people aren't that progressive either

Game Devs don't get royalties, rarely (if ever) get any sort of bonus for when a game does well, and there is like a 50% chance you get laid off even if the game does well
